Meet The Team
My name is Robert Rudder. I go by “Rob”, “Robby” or “Rudder” depending on how well you know me. I am a 49 year old Colorado native with 25 years experience in the food/beverage industry. I’ve worked in every type of atmosphere from bar/grills to fine dining. I graduated from “Le Cordon Bleu” culinary school in Minneapolis, MN in 2008. I am trained in many types of cuisine, but prefer southwest flavors and making a delicious array of soups. I am super excited to bring my culinary expertise to Alamosa, once again.
Having lived in the San Luis Valley my entire life, I've come to love and appreciate the community, support, and beauty this area provides. 20+ years experience serving, bartending, and management in the food service industry. Degrees from Adams State University including a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Having previously worked with Rudder at Cattails when it was the Blue Foxx, we're looking forward to bringing delicious cuisine and a great atmosphere back to Alamosa and surrounding areas.
